SCAT Testing

What is SCAT?

The SCAT (Sport Concussion Assessment Tool) is a validated assessment used after a head injury to evaluate symptoms, cognition, balance, and neurological function.

It is most effective when compared against a baseline test completed at the start of the season. SCAT can be used for individuals aged 8 years and older and is widely adopted across elite and professional sport.

Medical Follow-Up

After a head injury, it’s important to consult a qualified professional.

Bring your baseline SCAT results to your Sports Doctor or GP. This allows for a more accurate assessment and helps guide your individualised recovery plan.
